    Cleanups per packaging review, shrink source tarball
    
    move env GDK_BACKEND=x11 into the desktop start file
    Remove extra directories from source tarball external/ which aren't needed.
    Remove obsolete patch for wxGTK3.
    Move executable to libexecdir.
    Other requested minor cleanups.
