Upstream some changes from RHEL
    
    Stop mucking with dist and drop support for really old RHEL. This was
    causing problems during the initial build for Aarch64. See:

    We don't have libgadu in RHEL, and Pidgin, the application, is now
    part of RHEL 7.3.
